| 💙💛 Thank You, Williams Community! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to vote and show your support for our school and community this week! Your involvement and enthusiasm make such a difference, and we’re so grateful for all who take the time to stay engaged and connected.

| Holiday Toy Drive - December 9th The Williams School, in partnership with The Village Bank, is running a holiday gift drive for families in our community. There will be a large gift box sitting in front of the main office where you can donate NEW and UNWRAPPED Toys for children ages 0-10. Your gifts will benefit many Newton families this holiday season. We need to collect all toys/gifts by Wednesday, December 9th so we can deliver gifts in time for the holidays. Thank you! |

Annual Dues Every year the Williams PTO spends approximately $250 per student on the various programs the PTO sponsors in and out of school. In order to achieve all our goals for our school and our children we must raise upwards of $40,000 each year. While every Williams parent/guardian is automatically a member of the Williams PTO, we ask that each Williams family pay annual dues in order to keep these programs alive and raise the bar in our community and social gatherings. Our goal this year is 100% family participation. While our suggested payment is $250 per child, please contribute what you can. The PTO will use dues to fund many of our core activities throughout the year! For example: Classroom Supplies Field Trips Creative Arts & Sciences Educational Enrichment Program Staff Instructional Mini-Grants Technology & Equipment Multicultural Night Staff Appreciation Week School Grounds Beautification Community Outreach Back to School & Ice Cream SocialÂ

| Harvest Festival Concert - Nov 26th Harvest Festival Concert is on Wednesday, November 26th! All students will participate.  If you are so inclined, Mr. Ritter invites you to dress up as your favorite Muppet. The concert will take place in the gym. Doors will open for families at 10:30 and the concert will begin at 11:00. The concert will end at 12:00. November 26th is a 12:10 school dismissal. Students will return to their classrooms after the concert and families in attendance will pick their children up in the classrooms. Please inform your child’s classroom teacher if there are changes in their dismissal plans for the 26th.  🍪 5th Grade Bake Sale – Saturday, September 15th! The Williams School 5th Grade Planning Committee is excited to announce our upcoming Bake Sale on Saturday, September 15th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Star Market (2040 Commonwealth Avenue, Auburndale). Stop by to pick up some delicious homemade treats and help support our amazing 5th graders! All proceeds from the bake sale will go toward special end-of-year events, activities, and celebrations for the graduating class. Your support—whether by baking, buying, or spreading the word—makes a big difference. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy something sweet while helping us make this milestone year one to remember! |
|  🏅 Sports Clinics Starting Soon - November 18th Get ready—Be Ahead of the Game is bringing exciting evening sports clinics to the Williams Elementary Gym starting this November! Kids in grades K–5 can join in on the fun with options like indoor soccer, basketball, futsal, and multi-sports. Sessions are split by grade and held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings—perfect for burning energy and building skills after school. Tuesdays - 11/18/25 - 01/06/26  (6 classes total; no class - 12/23 or 12/30) 6-7 PM - Grades K-2 - Indoor Soccer 7-8 PM - Grades 3-5 - Indoor Soccer Thursdays - 11/20/25 - 1/15/26 ( 6 classes total, no class - 11/27, 12/25 or 1/1  ) 6-7 PM - Grades K-2 - Basketball 7-8 PM - Grades 3-5 - Basketball $220 for first kid $190 for second kid It’s active, it’s fun, and it supports our school. | 📸 Picture Retakes – November 14th Picture Retake Day is coming up on Thursday, November 14th at 9:00 AM in the auditorium. If any parents have questions – please reach out to CoffeePond's Customer Service Dept.  // PHONE: 1-800-632-2323 ext "0" // EMAIL: Lifeguards@coffeepond.com **If any student forgets to bring in their picture package on Friday, they can still take a retake. However, parents will need to mail back their original package to CoffeePond in order for the lab to print anything from the new picture. | Williams Online Auction, Nov. 22 - Dec 5 The Williams Online Auction runs November 22–December 5, ending with an in-person, adults-only Gala on Friday, December 6. We’re now collecting donations from our wonderful Williams community to help make this event a success. No contribution is too big or too small — every item helps!
Examples: event tickets, a weekend getaway, handcrafted items, themed baskets, bottles of wine, or gift certificates. Please complete this form by Friday, November 21 if you’d like to contribute. We’re also inviting parents to host or co-host an event to be featured in the auction — think cocktail party, beer swap, cooking demo, cookie swap, sing-along, or game night.
