| CAS: Year in Review This year, Williams Elementary students took part in 21 unique enrichment programs that brought science, history, and the arts to life right in our classrooms. From exploring the physics of bubbles to mastering the rhythms of Taiko drumming, our students engaged in hands-on learning that complemented their daily curriculum.
Program Impact by the Numbers6 Grade Levels served with equitable programming. 11 Scientific Labs hosted in partnership with the Discovery Museum, covering topics from Magnetism to the Changes of Matter. 4 Professional Artist Residencies including paper cutting, origami, and collage art. 3 High-Energy Assemblies held in the Gym to celebrate music, nature (Wingmasters), and movement.
A Special Thank YouThese programs are made possible through the collaboration among our dedicated teachers, the CAS committee, and the Williams community.
We are especially grateful to our visiting experts—from the scientists at the Discovery Museum to our visiting authors—who sparked so much curiosity and joy in our students this year.
A big thank you to Ms. Takacs for her extra effort in organizing, supporting, and making our CAS program both educational and fun for the students. Please reach out to us if you have any questions, feedback, or new ideas for future CAS programs. We would love to hear from you!
Thank you for your support.
