It's hard to believe we're already approaching the final days of the school year and that Arch Day is right around the corner! As we celebrate the end of another wonderful year, we're also beginning to look ahead and plan for the next one. If you're looking for a way to get involved, meet other families, and help make Williams such a special place, be sure to check out the volunteer opportunities below.

As we begin planning for another wonderful school year, we're looking for parent and guardian volunteers to help make our events, programs, and community-building activities a success. There are many opportunities available, whether you'd like to help occasionally, work behind the scenes, or take on a larger leadership role.

We'd especially love to highlight two opportunities that are currently available:

📸 School Picture Day Coordinator
School Picture Day is September 15! The coordinator works with the photographer and school staff, helps keep students organized during photo sessions, and recruits a small team of parent volunteers for the day. It's a great way to support the school through a fun, well-loved event.

🍎 Kindergarten Playdate Coordinator
Help welcome our incoming kindergarten families by coordinating two summer playdates on July 19 and August 23. The PTO provides the treats—you help create a warm and welcoming environment where new students and parents can connect before the school year begins. Both playdates will take place on the Williams Playground. Email presidents@williamspto.org to volunteer.

Arch Day is a Williams School tradition when we celebrate all students as they symbolically move from their current grade to the next, passing through a balloon arch (and singing!). 

All families are invited and encouraged to attend. We will hold the event on the field. Please bring your own camping chairs and/or blankets to sit on. Please note that parking is limited in the neighborhood. Please drive only if you must. 

At the end of Arch Day, students will return to their classrooms where families may pick them up. Please do not take your child directly from the field. We need to ensure that every child is signed out.

Down Under Yoga is opening a studio in Wellesley, featuring fitness classes, wellness programming, and recovery options—an exciting new addition to the local community. See below for more information:

 Down Under Yoga Wellesley is designed as a full wellness destination—bringing yoga, Pilates Reformer, and recovery together under one roof. The studio features two spacious yoga rooms (70 + 50 students), a dedicated reformer studio with 9 reformers, and an exclusive recovery suite with a Finnish sauna, red light therapy, and cold showers.

Our Founding Membership is $199/month (valued at $240 once fully launched) and includes unlimited classes at all Down Under locations, 4 reformer classes per month, and full access to the recovery space. Only a limited number of memberships remain at this rate, and we expect them to sell out by the end of the week.
