| Back to School Social: Sept 19th Celebrate the start of a new school year with the Williams community on Saturday, September 19, from 3–5 p.m. Enjoy music from a DJ, a bounce castle, crafts, ice cream, and plenty of fun on the Williams Elementary field. | Help the Williams Green Team Williams’ food-rescue program is back! Last year, the program rescued more than 1,000 pounds of unopened food from the cafeteria and delivered it to the Newton Community Freedge. During the first week of this school year alone, another 33.4 pounds was rescued. The Green Team is looking for parent and caregiver volunteers to transport food from Williams to the Community Freedge at 420 Watertown Street. The drive generally takes 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic. The team can also use brown paper grocery bags with handles. Donations may be left in the Williams main office.
